About Elle:
Elle Callahan was born in Seattle Washington to two parents who were too young to realize what they were doing. At age two, her father finally decided he didn't want anything to do with her or her mother and left. For the greater half of her childhood, it was just Elle and her mom. Her mom put her in dance classes to fill her spare time with structure while her mom worked long, tiring hours as a nurse in a local hospital. When she was 8, her mom ended up remarrying and began a new, picture perfect life with her new stepdad.
As she got older, Elle realized her place in her mom's life was slowly starting to take a backseat to the "new family" she was building. She eventually had two more children, both boys, and Elle continued to fade in the background. She continued to find her passion in dance all the way until her freshman year of high school - when she fell in with the wrong group of people.
Elle was never one to stray far from the path she was supposed to be on, but at age 14 she grew tired of being pushed aside by everyone in her life. She spent a lot of time with a group of kids, mostly older than her, and began to stay out later and attend their kickbacks. She began to experiment with drugs and alcohol, much like many kids her age, but discovered her real thrill - breaking into homes of those more well off and selling their designer clothes for cash. Her and her friends began their own 'bling ring' in Seattle, mainly targeting wealthier doctors and athletes in the area.
Her junior year, Elle was deep into her scheming and had a big chunk of cash saved up for her plan to get the hell out of Seattle and attend her dream school: USC. During one of their routine nights, someone in her group slipped up and ended up leaving something behind at one of the homes. With their identity blown, they ended up going down for the whole ring and landing time in prison. However, he refused to name anyone else working with him so the rest of the group got off. Elle kept playing with fire, however, up until the day she left for California. The guilt creeps up from time to time, but she reminds herself she needs to be where she is now.
